Great film with a spot on print.

You'll need to get Wild, Wild Planet and The Snow Devils from the same series with their matching spines.

I have been waiting for ages for some cheap movies i had ordered via Ebay a few weeks ago to be delivered and finally this afternoon they finally turned up. Most were around £4 each apart from the Three Stooges and The Road Trilogy which were just under £7 and the Fraggle boxset was £14. The reason they are so cheap as they may have some cosmetic damage but until they arrive i have no idea what state they are in but looking at it the only one that is badly damaged is The Three Stooges but all the discs are fine and 3 of the Criterion's need the proper cases.

Regulars may have noticed that I haven't been around much lately - mainly due to work commitments etc. A bit of retail therapy always eases the pain though.

Here's a few bits I've ordered/received over the past few days:

It took me years before saw it, the trailer did nothing for me, but when I did I really enjoyed it was a nice throwback to those classic OTT Bond movies which makes a nice change from the dark and serious new movies,

The thing is though. It didn't. I can't recall the last time Bond knocked around with a reject from Sex Lives of the Potato Men.

Apart from the superbly orchestrated killing spree, I didn't think much of it either. The comedy was ill judged and out of place, especially the horrendous subplot about anal sex at the end.

I went to the cinema today and had the choice of Kingsman 2, Victoria & Abdul or It. I opted for the latter and loved the story construction, jettisoning the adult parts for the next chapter and wisely choosing atmosphere and well constructed scares over cheap jumps. I thought the child actors were uniformly excellent and the costume and period design, especially of Derry – a character in itself – was brilliant.

Some nice purchases, b_e. :pop2:

Love the cover art to Spider. Have you seen it previously or is it a blind buy.
