Hello folks!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Not been buying all that much recently and I’ve been watching even less. A quick count of my cabinet racks up 86 movies that are still in their cellophane!

I got The Thing Ltd Ed from Zavvi. I’d ordered the Steel book as well, direct from arrow. Still waiting on that though

Default What Have You Bought Recently?

My The Thing steelbook arrived direct from arrow. Very nice. Should be noted as the only time I’ve made an effort to aim the camera’ flash to light up a particular part of a photograph.

Lego mini-figure is from the create your own bit in the Lego shop. The Lego huskies is “borrowed” from one of the kids’ Lego sets.

Picked up standard edition of Arrow's The Thing from Sainsburys. It's a one month store exclusive. After using staff discount and nectar points, only paid 6 pounds for it which is a very good price. Was really pleased to see it, as my store doesn't normally have Arrow titles, usually just generic chart blu-rays. Am glad that I cancelled my LE Amazon order (which was 20 pounds). My wife and I are very much looking forward to watching a 4K mastered print with original 4.1 sound with lots of generous extras!

I was going to buy Death Becomes Her on bluray from Final Cut despite its awful artwork, but as I sought it out in-store at HMV and held it in my hands I just couldn't bring myself to do it, it looks spectacularly bad in person.

It's a shame because it's a really good fantasy comedy and one of my favourites, I'll have to make do with the DVD I think.

Fear.Com has a terrible reputation but i rather like it. Same goes for Haunted Hill and it's sequel.
