Nowt wrong with charity shops

The good thing about them is...if you wait long enough, pretty much anything you want can be found in them

They are where most of my collection have come from

Streets of Fire from Japan, and indicator’s Harryhausen set number 2. Sweet as a nut.

As ye might have guessed I picked up a certain boxset featuring 'restored' versions of a trilogy originating in 1977.
As I have the WS vhs of these, it never really bothered me about the 'unavailability' of these sacred texts
Looking forward to gritting my remaining teeth and sitting through the finale of Return. For research purposes only harumph ....
£2.75!!! (Cover torn slightly).

The DVD box set 'restorations' aren't as bad as the bluray ones to be honest. They turned Cloud City into a bluescreen travesty and gave Boba Fett a New Zealander accent

Streets of fire now that is just a great film you never get bored of ,and a prime eg of they don't make films like they use to .
Years ago you would wade through loads of films to find one you didn't like .
Now you wade through loads to try find one you do like

Ordered a German dvd of Sergio Leone's Last Days of Pompeii and an Italian blu-ray of Leone's Colossus of Rhodes. Whilst they don't display much of his later directorial style, I wanted to own them so I could complete my Leone collection (which currently consists of Fistful of Dollars and his five later directed works as well as the two Terence Hill 'Nobody' films which he partially directed). So I will now own all ten Sergio Leone films.
