Got the 2 disc version of Kitano's Zatoichi, Ringo Lam's Full Contact and Tokyo Zombie off sellers on amazon. And a Johnnie To film I'd never heard of called Breaking News on dvd for 99p out BHF. Thought for that price I'd give it a go. Also got Mad Detective on blu ray and Takeshis' on dvd. Zatoichi was the first film I ever saw at the GFT and haven't seen it since so looking forward to watching it again.

Finally received my Italian Orca blu-ray today (ordered it bloomin' ages ago!). My wife and I will watch on Sunday evening and I am quite excited about it. Haven't seen this film for around 10 years (I sold off 90% of my dvds so I could kickstart a blu-ray collection).

I do prefer Jaws 2 but Orca easily trounces Jaws 3D and Jaws The Revenge. But maybe it's unfair to compare Orca to the Jaws franchise? Whilst the 1975 film was clearly the inspiration, the 1977 Orca film was adapted from a book by Italian screenwriters (how faithful that was, I honestly do not know).

btw Love Ennio Morricone's Orca score.

Got this from Music Magpie for a fiver-ish, Region A remastered in 4K BD of The Fifth Element. I've not seen this in a long time so I'm curious to see if I even still enjoy it. Had a scan through though and it looks awesome.

It was through Amazon, you usually can't, I bet someone sold it to them by putting in the UK barcode then they were stuck with it

Ah right, same reason I’ve occasionally seen Region 1 DVDs in CEX, sneaky Russians
