Embarrassed to say the Ong Bak films slipped me by, never seen them even tho a Thai action flick is right up my street.

I went to HMV yesterday and bought eight Blu-ray releases, most from the 5 for £30 offer, two from the 2 for £25 section and the other which was just plain old reduced! I'll probably go back for another look in the 5 for £30 section before the sale ends on Sunday.

That first film is groundbreaking in my opinion, Plato. Superb stuff.

Although it's been years since I saw the first film (I haven't seen the others), I remember it being astonishingly violent and Tony Jaa an incredible martial artist. I enjoyed Chocolate, a 2005 film by the same director, about as much.

Everything you have bought is worth it M.
Vital is such a departure. Imho.

Me?
Well I picked up that Running Scared by chance and Desert Heat as I haven't seen it and Junior Bonner. UK dvds. £1.50.

I thought Ong Bak was rubbish. Jaa spent the majority of the film actually running away from the bad guys rather than actually fighting anyone.

As I feared, no English subs or language...
