Pretty much unfortunately for now I have to wait until I get a multi region blu ray player.

I have the Sony BDP-S3700, which is an excellent multi region Blu-ray player with an assortment of apps (Amazon, Netflix, iPlayer etc.) to turn it into an extension of (or replacement for) your Smart TV, and would recommend it, or its more recent replacement.
