Got the out of print Studio Canal collection digibook of The Elephant Man for 9 quid, all in, on Ebay in near mint condition.

Such a moving a moving and powerful film, especially as someone who has a so-called 'disability' in the form of my autism. One of my very favourites.

£16 from Ebay. No slipcover (no loss), but I remembered initially the first film only had a 2.0. soundtrack instead of the 5.1 listed. Hopefully it’s the correct version, but if not, I’ll see if Lionsgate is still doing the replacement program and i’ll get the disc sent to my Shipito address in the US, as they were refusing to send replacements overseas.

Had a clear out & transferred loads of older/mainstream titles (ie-ones you can get in cex for 50p) to plastic cd wallets & disposed of the boxes, the amount of new releases on the horizon & cult stuff which is now readily available. The rest will go to cex when i get the chance (cant really take that many dvds into work, looks mental!) and when the snow goes.

Going to order a load of Black House titles once I get paid as the older ones are down to £6.99 each on amazon.

I finally picked up The Awful Dr Orlof this weekend actually as it’s been around £13 since it came out and it’s finally come down to £6.99!
