Picked this up from Music Magpie, I just read the book for the first time this week! DVD arrived fast, I think I only ordered it on Thursday.

Was in the mood for some comedy so I picked up a blu-ray of Weird Science by John Hughes. Will watch tomorrow. I very much like The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller and am hoping that I will feel the same about the film in-between (I haven't seen this for years).

The bd has a 'Perfect 30th Anniversary Edition' banner which is a bit misleading since, unlike the US release, there are zero extras. Also the disc is infamous for having a print with far too overzealous noise reduction.

Spent 3 quid on a Die Hard 2 blu-ray. I love the first film but actually never got fully on board with the sequels. Much as I like Samuel L Jackson, I think the first sequel is the better film even if it is still a significant step-down from the original. Should be fun to revisit.

Fun game. Spot the inclusion of a clip from Fox's brand new animated show The simpsons being screened on the airplane in DH2. Then look at Bruce Willis then and compare him to Bruce Willis now. Really illustrates how long that show has been running.
