Holy mackerel, Ant! How long do you think it will take you to watch all of those?

How much of it have you managed to watch? :pop2:

Tell me about it, didn't realise how much until I listed them. I've only watched The Social Network and Buried so far, I've got Monday and Tuesday off work so I'll try and make a dent in the pile.
I've had to cancel my Lovefilm to give myself time to watch purchased films.

About a year maybe  All I'll end up doing is adding more on top week after week. Majority are from Poundland so I just can't resist the bargains.

Nearly bought this too but decided against it - can anyone tell me how many of these films are any good? Found Jess Franco stuff hit or miss thus far and don't want to waste my money.

Thw words 'good' and Franco seldom mix well together, in my experience, although I have seen (and own!) a fair few of his films.

Many of his films are not 'good', but I still enjoy them. The standout title from that box (although others will disagree) is Mansion of the Living Dead - so cheesy, in such a good way!

Macumba Sexual and The Inconfessible Orgies of Emmanuelle are okay, but the rest are not that fantastic; plus I haven't seen Downtown Heat, so can't comment on that one!

My top Franco recommendations would be Bloody Moon and Faceless.

Good choice. :)

Got 2 more versions of DOTD from ebay a few moments ago. I think this is one of the few films that I have more than 3 copies of.

EDIT! Scratch that..... 3 versions!

Was in town yesterday and picked up NORTH BY NORTHWEST and TERMINATOR 2 (wish they'd hurry up and release the superior original on bd in the UK)
