Was in Fleetwood and went in a small kinda hut shop with few random things, and we come across this
Sam liked so we bought it for £35
We got home and she googled it on eBay and cheapest we've seen it is around £107

I'm puzzled why it says Titanic London on it.

The Titanic was registered at Liverpool and sailed from Southampton to New York on it's sole ill fated voyage. The company who owned the ship - White Star Line were from Liverpool. London has nothing to do with the ship.

Did the shop owner explain why it said London on it?

Nice purchase all the same.

Wallace Hartley, the band leader who had his band keep playing as the ship sank and died on it, was from Colne (Just about 19 miles down the M65 from where you used to live) which is just round the corner from me, so every time there's some sort of Titanic memorial or event it's all over the place round here meaning you can't help seeing things about it.

Those Ebay things are just merchandise opportunities as the actual life rings had no text on them at all.

It's still quite a nice piece though and i hope it gives you pleasure for years to come. :)

Picked up a couple of movie tees this week.

I ordered the Army of Darkness one prior to Easter from HMV and it only arrived yesterday as it was out of stock until last Thursday.

The Avengers one i just bought this morning. I wouldn't normally go for an Avengers film tee as i'm not that great a fan, but this looked so good colour wise with the shorts i was wearing at the time that i had to get it. It will be perfect for summer rambles with the mutt.

Love that AOD tee, I’ve got the standard one with the UK dvd cover, think I’ll have to order one of those

Thanks, Rik.

It's in the two for £20 tee shirt offer on HMV's website. I was a bit skint so only ordered the one. Had i known it would take a month to take payment i'd have gone for either The Exorcist or Friday 13th ones as well.
