Bought an Arrow blu-ray of Lucio Fulci's The Black Cat for 8.99 (HMV). I recall it being a lesser Fulci but still quite an entertaining film. Should be fun to revisit and my wife has never seen it before. Had a sneak peek and was pleased to see that it didn't have any scanner noise (as on House By The Cemetery and the initial City of the Living Dead release). It looked very nice.

I've been in wales all week here till Sunday at caravan park , ventured out and into town and bought these blu ray from cex other from cash convertors, wasn't happy with guy from cex I found a 4 disc blu ray Samuria collection boxset for £1.50 but he refused to sell it me being all jobs worth complaining it shouldn't be on the shelf because its a Japanese import and against the law for them to sell it because its not UK classification its region 6, personally I think he fancied it

Before we come down here I ordered some films online and ordered some online while I've been down here so when I get home I'll have some packages waiting for me

Pretty sure that only applies to 'new' stock, like most on here I've bought 'non-certified in UK' from charity shops (most tell you it's a region other than UK) and even CEX itself or Poundland, tho CEX may have it as a policy pretty sure it's no longer illegal for pre-owned.

Funnily enough, I just watched the remake again the other night. Good film, with enough differences from the original as to make it worthwhile.

I too thought it was pretty decent.

I think i've seen it more times than the original. That's not to say it's a better film, just that i've seen it more times.
