It's very 'Canadian' in feel, don't expect loads of CGI space ships or effects as I recall, the first season played on UK tv but had to wait years for the 2nd season, if you liked the series Dark Angel that reminded me of the style of WOTW, go in open minded and it can get quite fun, it does have a solid long story arc going for it too.

Thanks I've made a mistake because Sam was talking to me and looking through films etc she mentioned war of the worlds I was miles away and wrote it down here

When actually it was Day of the triffids I've just ordered

What a plonker .

Both Triffids series are good. However the earlier one is the superior version. I have both and both are better than the film.

The 70's series is to me THE definitive Day of the Triffids.

I always seem amused when someone mentions animal farm .
Nudge nudge wink wink Eh! Eh! And no I haven't seen it either just people and animals doesn't appeal to me .


Reminds me of the time went Amsterdam sex museum. In one room walls full of pictures of naked people sex positions etc and looking at them and wanders over to the far wall and its people and animals having sex ERM no thanks ...
