No I'd say to start with the newer interpretation of the book, then watch the older version. Will be interesting to see an unbiased opinion.

I am not biased against remakes at all.
I am proud to say I think Hills Have Eyes remake is lots better then original.
I also enjoyed DoTD remake.

LTROI is a classic of modern times its that simple. The remake lacks the atmosphere from LTROI and misses the whole she used to be a boy story.

Haven't had much money for DVDs lately but I needed my DVD fix, so picked up the MGM R1 of Jeff Lieberman's Squirm (1976) for £2.15 delivered.
