Last weeks purchases.

I'd had a CEX £5 voucher kicking about for the best part of a year so decided to spend it. Red Sparrow is cut and you can tell it is sadly, but seeing as it was free (ish) i'm not complaining (much). Plus one from Asda which is also supposedly shit...so a good week all round.

What’s cut from Red Sparrow, I saw it at the cinema and had planned on picking it up at some point?

It's the strangling/garroting scene with Ustinov, it's a lot less violent.

It's poor because the final scene as she recoils as the body is pulled away from her she's covered in blood but the cutting of the scene makes it appear a strangulation rather than a garotting with wire.

I read the book last year and that's a hell of a lot more explicit in every possible way.

The 'like' is for Jack the Giant Killer. A lot of fun.

I hated the ID4 sequel.

Each to their own, I hatethe first independence day, but I went to the cinema to see the sequel and went in with the lowest expectations as I was utterly cynical. But for me it became the most entertaining pile of trash I ever watched and throughout the whole film I was laughing.
