Okay, ended up buying it from Asda this afternoon. Nice slipcase won me over.

A Walk Among the Tombstones arrived today, a cheap buy from Music Magpie, and Godzilla is, believe it or, a blind buy. I know it doesn't have the best reputation, but figured the best way to watch it was with optimum picture and sound, so when it was available from Amazon for £9.99 this weekend, I decided to take a gamble.
I really like this version of Godzilla Nos. I'm not a huge Godzilla nerd but for me this is way better than the original Japanese movie and way way way better than the more recent reboot that had Brian Cranston in it briefly. A Walk Among the Tombstones I found dull as dishwater, it ended up back in cex a few days after I bought it.

Today's deliveries are all blind buys with the exceptions of Don't Look Now and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

I thought that version of Godzilla was superb, but recognise I'm in the minority with that opinion. I have a sneaking suspicion I've seen A Walk Among the Tombstones, but I'm not sure when or how.

I didn't rate A Walk Among the Tombstones at all. It was quite boring like you say. I also got rid of my copy as quickly as possible.

I went to HMV to buy this on Monday but they only received one copy and it sold as soon as they opened so I reluctantly ordered one from Amazon. I can't wait to watch them, I love this director but I haven't seen any of these 4 films!

Ready Player One is a very enjoyable film (especially The Shining bits).

Bit embarrassed to admit to it but I bought the (uncut) UK blu-ray of Conan the Destroyer. Four pounds including postage from ebay.

It's a really disappointing follow-up in my opinion but I think I'll still enjoy it as a guilty pleasure. I'm gonna put it in a 2 disc case along with my Barbarian bd.

Saw a youtube Oliver Harper analysis/critique of Destroyer where he did praise the Jack Cardiff cinematography. So it'll be interesting to take a fresh look at it in high definition.

btw I'm pretty sure that I won't also be picking up Red Sonja.

Probably why it was cheap at Music Magpie!
