Garbage day!

Picked up 101 Films Silent Night, Deadly Night 1 & 2 set. Someone needs to give us blu-rays of 3, 4 & 5 sometime.

Also picked up the blu-ray of The 90's Scottish film Soft Top, Hard Shoulder starrring Peter Capaldi from new company Plumeria Pictures. The only negative is the packaging. Comes with a limited edition slip, which houses a slim US sized blu-ray case. Only problem is, the insert with the art is obviously for a standard UK sized case (i tried it in one), so the spine is too big. Oh, and the artwork

Not a film ps4 game,

Little hope it’s the follow up in the anthology series to man of Medan, I only found out today when someone online mentioned it today, average price around £24 bought of eBay for £20

Today's arrivals from Music Magpie. I've upgraded Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima from DVD, I saw and enjoyed The Monuments Men at the cinema, though not enough to put it in the 'must buy' category.

The same goes for The Golden Compass, which I liked and waited in vain for a sequel. With the second season of His Dark Materials now on TV, I felt like revisiting Chris Weitz's 2007 film.

Because four of these were in the 2 for £3 offer (Letters from Iwo Jima wasn't; I bought it from someone on eBay), I added Star Wars: The Force Awakens as a bit of a 'why not?' purchase. It's the first Star Wars film I've bought and might find a way to buy or watch the first six (possibly a Disney+ trial) in chronological order before moving on to the seventh in the Star Wars franchise.
