Early Richard Attenborough film from the BFI, sounds good this. Lower class kid gets sent to a middle/upper class boarding school as an experiment.

Very controversial in its day

It was the first time that the word 'arse' was spoken in a film, as in "a kick up the arse". [This] "presented an issue for the U.K. censors at the time, as the use of profanity in films was frowned upon. Eventually the censors relented on the grounds that this was a drama about the working and middle classes, and the scene was left in. This paved the way for realistic language including mild profanity in future U.K. dramatic movies."

It does say 'contains mild language' on the parental advice  I'll have to look out for that :D

Interesting fact though!

I do know that Ulysses (1967) was the first (major) film to have the 'f-word' in it!
