The first series yes.

I've seen all three of them once and the first two a couple of times. They are exceptionally well-made and I love how John Logan created a London which was the melting pot out of which some great pieces of Gothic fiction emerged around the same time.

By merging them, like Dickensian did with the great characters from Charles Dickens' novels, Logan made a TV show which was innovative, interesting, and compelling viewing. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Thanks. I know not why but i bought the first season and watched it and liked it but never continued on with it.

I'll rewatch the first series before hitting series two.

I'm not sure why there was such a gap between when I bought/watched the first two seasons and buying the third either.

Re-watching the first season and going straight onto the second and third would be the way I would watch them as well – it's what I did when I bought the third season. :nod:

I wasn't going to get this as I already have the older disc, but it was only £12.99 and has a lot of new stuff in the extras, and also the theatrical version which I've never seen!
