I've been umming and arring about the Harry Potter Bluray box set myself.

I think the films will look great and the whole wonderfully realised world of Harry Potter has that proper Christmassy feel to it but i don't actually like the films that much.

I'm kinda leaning with the thought that seeing them on blu will improve them.

If you're not that bothered about the Harry Potter films, I'd save your money and use it to buy a selection of films on Blu-ray you'll enjoy and/or watch more frequently.

Based on a comment you made in the TV thread, I read about Black Sails and, because of the critical acclaim, bought the Blu-ray sets of the first two seasons from eBay (£3.07 and £4.57, respectively).

You will definitely want the remaining two series. The pirate attack on Charleston, South Carolina, at the end of series three is superb.

I probably will. As with most TV shows, the first two seasons are quite cheap and the other two are relatively expensive, so I'll keep checking Music Magpie and eBay to see if a bargain can be had.
