I love Carlito's Way but haven't seen it for a few years. Look forward to revisiting it.
I watched Carlito's Way for the first time a few weeks ago. Brilliant film, felt like it had a bit of a Shakespearian tragedy vibe going on.

I saw Carlito's Way at the time, only because it actually played my "local" cinema (20 miles away), a mainstream palace that did show some odder things after a change of manager apparently ahem.
I digress.
A film I'll return to certainly, some scenes stay with you I've found ... and on the way to the bus station I spotted Braindead for sale on vhs (only recently out ...), which I'd already seen on rental. Mine

Ahem. As you were.

I'm interested to know what this is like Graveyard as there have been complaints about it.

Encoding issues apparently.

I did have it preordered but had to cancel part of the order which meant as it was under £20 they'd suddenly whack on £4 postage so canceled the whole order and never got round to reordering it and now it's over £21.

That's the problem with not having Prime i guess.

Ordered that Haines cd (OST for Christie Malry) as I found it "new" for under a tenner. His voice will get me through the festivities methinks

I'm still going to get it myself. I don't tend to get too hung up on some films being absolutely perfect. Some i expect to be like looking through a window but others like , and i say this with all respect, shitty Italian movies that i've only seen as ropy vhs or dvd prints as long as they are a nice improvement then i'm happy.

It's one of a couple of things i'd like to treat myself to for Christmas...or at least treat myself to next week.

I’m not happy with the packaging at all, especially with now pricey it was… looking forward to watching it in better quality though!
