Interesting.

I like all the sequels bar the terrible Hellraiser Revelations, a film i'd never watch again. The last film prior to the reboot, Hellraiser Judgment, was excellent.

Been out and back home nice and early on Eurovision Saturday. Liverpool is already rammed! Felt like buying myself something and ended up with a successful CEX haul.

I enjoyed Police Story: Lockdown, Justin. Very downbeat for a Jackie Chan film i thought.

Quite different to the thrill ride of New Police Story that preceded it.

Nice one with The Missionary. I would definitely have bought that.

Same with The Ballad of Cable Hogue even though i didn't like it when i saw my one and only time which was i'd guess about twenty years ago as part of a Peckinpah dvd box set along with it's more impressive mates The Wild Bunch and Ride the High Country.

I haven't seen any of them so i'm really looking forward to giving them a watch at some point over the weekend.

The Missionary
is great. I would have picked it up last Indicator sale but i'd quite literally only just watched (and reviewed) it.

Zulu does look incredible in HD Dem. One of the best transfers I've ever seen.

Excellent choice. I was made to watch Zulu in school and didn't give a monkeys about some old fart film with Michael Caine. As ever when entertainment becomes forced academia it loses something. Took me many years to approach the film again and i loved it.
