In the case of The Matrix, the colour palette is intentional as the blue tone indicates you're in the real world with the green used only for within The Matrix.

All four Alien films look great, though some have improved much more than others. I've yet to watch the director's cuts of the first two and four of or the extended cut of the third.

Cheers 'Nos', always had a soft spot for Alien 3. HMV have the Alien 4 film blu box set at £25 I think. Might be £30, still good value.

That's a great price. If they were available separately, I imagine HMV stores would someone for at least £20 each!

Bought this yesterday from ebay for £11.09... Will probably get number 3(D) soon too. Just wondering if anyone has heard any news of the rest of them being released???

I buy the US ones cause I can't stand the UK artwork, its atrocious. I don't know why companies can't just keep the old VHS artwork or at least give use 2-sided sleeves with an alternative!

Also, BURIAL GROUND has one of the best pieces of artwork I've seen for a film but it doesn't look like SS are going to use it for its release...

I read something in a newspaper (I forget which) by someone who saw it at the cinema in 1973 and is glad this masterpiece has been re-released with a remastered transfer and hopes there are more horror films made like this relying on suspense, dread and mystery rather than cheap shocks.

Most of all, he is extremely pleased the picture on the BD retains the integrity of the cinematic print and looks exactly as it did nearly 40 years ago on the big screen. As I wasn't around then I'll have to take his word for it!
