Yeah,Canal bought Optimum a few years ago to dish out their UKI releases.:nod:

Perhaps we'll see the great Wicker Man on BD now,not to mention Exterminator 2......:pray:

The Wicker Man is probably my most wanted Blu-Ray title at the moment, so I hope they do release it soon!

My most wanted are most definitely the pair of classic Fulci films BU are soon going to release :D

Speaking of BU, I just bought STENDHAL SYNDROME for £9.20 brand new from amazon marketplace. Was quite impressed by the price. I nearly bought LAND OF THE DEAD at HMV earlier for £6 but I'm glad I waited as SS is a film more worthy of my £ :p Also I hear its a marvel to behold on blu ray in terms of PQ!

It was only a matter of time before that happened as Optimum has been a small part of Studio Canal for a while now and, as it has more financial muscle, that can only be a good thing for consumers.

I really hope that happens but only when it's undergone a thorough HD remastering process and can look as good as, if not better than, Witchfinder general.

I just watched FALLING DOWN and it looked and sounded great!

One of Douglas's best performances ever-the Whammy Burger bar scene is classic!:lol:
