Dont know why it has a 18 rating in the picture as its rated 15 by the bbfc.

Possibly includes an 18 trailer or another extra which was rated 18.

The UK Blu-ray of Stargate arrived today, so I'll give it a spin later and report back. :D

But where's my Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue? I need to see it! Now!

Stargate :thumb: Great Film.Would have loved to have seen the direction it would have taken if Roland Emmerich/Dean Devlin had gotten their wish to make more.

I love the fact that Blue Underground are now including the original mono audio on their discs. It's cool if a stereo remix is included, like Arrow's Dawn Of The Dead (lossless :thumb:), but I'm not a fan of pre-90s films on blu that only include the 5.1, unless it's a case like Suspiria, where the film was originally presented with a 4.0 (AFAIK). Mind you, I've heard good 5.1s which have derived from mono tracks, but they're quite rare.

Was that a random rant? ;)

Ah yeah could be. I know one of the other tartan releases was rated a 12 but the dvd got a 18 because of a trailer for 3 extremes. I find that a bit silly tbh, why include trailers if it will cause the rating to be raised.
