Apart from the cute exploding head the cuts are minimal and won't spoil anything. Unlike the old video versions which were absolutely massacred. :ack:

Nah, it's not really necessary to see Night first. Two different styles/eras of film on the whole (though both excellent). It'd be interesting to see which cut of Dawn you prefer. I've always preferred the theatrical print.

Personally I thought the Dawn remake was atrocious.

Not sure if I should spend the £18 and get it now or wait and see if HMV drops the price when it becomes a wide release. Night on blu is pretty cheap too. Doubt I can afford to get all 3 movies atm on blu so might leave day and rent first to see if I like.

MatOfTheDead 19th January 2010 12:41 AM

its 16.99 on hmv.com

When it comes to Dawn i prefer the 139 min directors cut. it removes part of the dock scene at the begining but has the scene where peter shoots the zombie kids.

MatOfTheDead 19th January 2010 01:14 PM

Im actually watching The DC atm and i dont know really what to make of it
i mean the extra scene in the docks is pretty cool but alas i dunno
