Pre-ordered Cannibal Holocaust BD for £13.85 from Zavvi, my first Shameless title, and probably not the last

That's a great price, might pre-order that soon

I've also just bought Paranoid Park on bluray. It was only £4.50 (was listening to Elliott Smith which reminded me of the film and fancied watching it again)

Great purchases, Reaps and bizarre_eye. I also have Torso and Basket Case on pre-order and there are a few titles pictured above which I realise I should order/pre-order.

More arrivals in the post,

Not to sure about the terminator salvation steel has any one seen this two disc version. Bought it on eBay seems a bit shifty tho I can't seem to find info on it anywhere. If it is real its the worst steelbook I've seen because the back part is stuck on really badly.

I am here: Google Maps

I have the Terminator Salvation steel book. The glue that sticks the paper info on the back has probably melted and the paper slipped. Depends how and where it was stored previous to you owning it. Direct sunlight or radiators could do it.

My mgm region 1 dvd of LEVIATHAN turned up yesterday. Went on a spending spree of cheapie mgm discs and got this at a snip.

Best thing is the cover. Its got a lovely lenticular cover, much in the style of the shameless almost human release.

Going to watch the film later. Havent watched this george p cosmotos release since the days of vhs, I remember it being daft-but-fun. Hopefully i'm not remembering it through rose-tinted glasses!

I completely agree about Hammer and vampire movies -- you only need to look at the 'heaving bosoms' in Dracula (Horror of Dracula) to see if they were intent on mixing the erotic and horrific.

I'm also really looking forward to the Countess Dracula BD and, if Twins of Evil also makes its HD debut, that'll be my third or fourth copy!

Be aware anyone without multi-region blu-ray access, the synapse hammer releases WILL be region coded. Seems they are obliged to code them so uk buyers are discouraged from importing. That way we'll all go out and buy the uk dvd's instead. Still networks countess dracula dvd is pretty spiffing but you would think uk distributors would sieze the opportunity to put out uk blu's of these films, perhaps their waiting to see how the forthcoming quatermass blu from optimum sells (I'm definately picking that up!)
