I arrived home to find my Brazil BD waiting for me too, along with the BDs of: Big Trouble in Little China, Class of Nuke 'em High, Heavy Metal, Pierrot le fou, and Poultrygeist. Let's just say I have plenty to watch now!

In addition to above, I was pleased to have also received the new Icon DVD of Hammer's The Abominable Snowman courtesy of LoveFilm - I'll be giving that one a spin later.

I've just watched the Criterion Collection release of House (Hausu), which looks and sounds amazing, although some of the strobe-like effects did my eyes no favours! I intend to read the booklet later.

I bet you fancy a banana now though, eh Nos? ;)

Personally, yes. I just love how good the zombies look, the prosthetics and make-up are just at the top of their game.

Just finished watching it!
I really enjoyed this version, I'm not sure if I prefer it to the original but I will say that this has my favourite zombie make up. I love the look of the zombies. Tony Todd made this film for me he Is far to awesome.

Stephen@Cult Labs 16th September 2011 12:13 AM

I'll watch the deleted scenes on my cousins blu-ray set of Star wars.....and that's the only courtesy I'll give Lucas!
