That's a very good point. And a certainty.

Saw Black Christmas ages ago, it was 2.14 on amazon but as the disc was scuffed and the box was battered, i left negative feed back on the seller as it was described as in very good condition so he emailed me and asked me to remove the feedback and refunded me the money i paid and said to keep the dvd so, essentially i got if for free. Anywho, i saw the remake whcih sucked major balls and really enjoyed the original so went with it. |

I realise this purchase won't fit in with the overall tone of the thread, but the last thing I bought was Wallace and Gromit: The Complete Collection (BD)! Four classic short films, all of the brilliant.

I watched the original Black Christmas last night and it is amazing how well it holds up after all these years. I have one that I bought in 2006 with a commentary by Bob Clark and other extra features but the one I watched last night is a re-release by Metrodome without any special features that is being released on Monday. Anyway, back on topic, my latest order is of Flesh for Frankenstein as I rented the R2 version but found it was cheaper to import the R1.

I was really shocked by the nastiness of the language in "Black Christmas" on first seeing it on DVD, having only ever seen it cut on tv. Anybody else seen director Bob Clark's first film, the epic, cross dressing freak show that is "SheMan"? I've posted a review of it in the "Members Reviews" section.
