It wasn't loose in the case either - but the shrinkwrap was loose and the security sticker was strangely absent, but you can make out that it was there. Methinks this eBay seller is trying to plam me off with a used BD. Just a suspicion, but it doesn't look new to me.
some time ago I bought the R1 CE THE THING at Play.com for £6 I bought it from Moviemars who stated its brand new but when I received it was sealed ok, but no security sticker, I have bought dvds ffrom the seller before and have had the sticker on, so I presume its NEW!

You not seen THE CONVERSATION?-Class.
Arguably Hackman's best.

I watched the Jurassic Park trilogy back to back yesterday-it looked rather good.

Funnily enough, I bought this from Moviemars too. Whilst it all looks new on the outside, the poor state of the disc inside gives me pause for thought. I'm guessing that it was just packed badly at the factory and nothing to do with Moviemars. However, the disc won't play properly, so I'm absolute resolute that I'll get a replacement. I'm not paying good money for a BD that won't play properly.

Halloween II looks incredible in HD, much better than I thought it would! Definitely one of my favourite BDs to date. And you get the full length docu-feature Terror in the Aisles in full HD as an extra too. But snap up a copy quick, there's rumours about that Universal didn't properly license the clips and they also omitted the title card saying 'Moustapha Akkad presents' and so they might be doing a recall. Like I say, it's just a rumour, but I'm glad I already have myself a copy - just in case!

why are people buying the Thing US release?

the UK disc has the same PQ as the US but it has more extras.
Only extra US disc has is the documentary as a picture in picture feature so you cannoy watch it on its own while the UK disc you can watch it on its own and all the previous DVD extras ported over.
