That's not always the case, to be fair. I've often purchased a copy of a film I already own, purely for new content in the package, in the form of features. And Second Sight's edition of The Brood is pretty packed feature wise, so it would be a shame to miss out on all that.

I bought A Field in England whilst I was in Bristol at the beginning of the week and today on the home from work picked up the German blu-rays of Sinister (see my Fright Fest review over on my diary thread) and An American Werewolf in London.

OK well it definitely works on the PS3 anyway, for anyone that's interested.

Might watch the extras on Scott Pilgrim as the film is very good, it surprised me how much i enjoyed it

Any commentary with Edgar Wright is worth it as far as I am concerned. There are some good video diaries on the disc which are also worth watching.
