Never seen this. Love Romero and a lot of King adaptations. Worth a blind buy?

I'd say so, it's a great film and it's pretty faithful to the novel too. Might be tempted myself once I've finished my Xmas shopping

I think it improves in at least one way from the novel. Having Hutton play both Thad Beaumont & George Stark. If I remember, in the book, they're not physically similar.

Slightly more than I recollect purchasing. I'll try and post them more often so it's not as annoying to scroll through. But the usual array of recent releases from Arrow Video & Academy, Eureka, and the BFI, along with a couple from Network's recent BD sale. Rabid Dogs finally arrived! Nightbreed also finally arrived, in perfect condition from Diabolik, but taking slightly longer than usual from them. The Porky's Steelbook was only £6.60 at Amazon believe it or not. Le Jour Se Leve was playing at my local arthouse but sadly my schedule clashed, so the BD will have to do. I've heard lots of good things about Hide Your Smiling Faces, and am a fan of coming of age cinema so I'm looking forward to it.
