Ahhh! Those heady days when you used to review things.

As for the prize? Apologies but no back dating.

Aside from my trawl through Nightmare USA country I've never been a regular reviewer.

Oops! That will teach me not to post before I've read to the end of the thread.

picked this up for £4.99 from a charity shop, finally... a Brad Pitt performance that justifies his rep (to me anyway) in a quality story about close quarter armour combat in WW2, the kill or be killed philosophy of that conflict pops right off the screen "You're here to kill Germans, and the Germans are here to kill you" from what I've read, this about as true to the fact short of a documentary as you'll see, everyone has to be a cold killer just to survive and makes war the grim dirty business it is. Top stuff.

My Contamination bd / dvd and Dead End Drive In arrived yesterday plus I picked up Surf Nazis Must Die and Spark from HEAD .

Has anyone bought the 88 Films DVD release of Anthropaphagus (forgive spelling) or Zombie Holocaust ? I want the 88 Films release for the cannibal documentary with Zombie Holocaust and the 42nd Street doc with Antropapahagus and just wondered if anyone got the DVDs , what the PQ was like.
I have several average releases of Zombie Holocaust and I dont have Anthropapahagus as im not keen on it and I was wondering if I should wait on the bd's or go with the cheaper dvds if its the documentary extras im mainly interested in, especially with Anthropapahagus .
I also noticed the run time was longer on the bd of Zombie Holocaustthan the dvd. Is it a longer version ?
Thanks and sorry for the silly questions .

yes, i am a little late to the party on this one, Not seen until today, bought on bluray for just £2 from CEX, a little underwhelmed by picture quality, at times it almost looked pixelated, vfx were ultimately unimpressive to say the least. Overall i felt it was an average film. A 5/10 or 2.5/5 Not as bad as some make out but nowhere near as good as other proclaim. Some nice looking females on show certainly help and i think their performances helped me invest some time in their characters, however, this was not enough to truly grip me throughout entire movie, overall sin was trying to distract audience with vfx fireworks which were arbitrary and lackluster, on a whole i wont be watching this again for quite a while, what were your thoughts? i know this one parts the crowd!
