Great picks from Poundland, I've got CO on BD but it skips a bit and jumps about 7 minutes to clear so I'll spin the £1 dvd without getting aggravated and SLIH has the 30min doc and other bits too.

DVDs arrived:

Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed

8-Horror Movie Pack includes:

Waxwork
976-Evil 2
Ghoulies III
The Unholy
CHUD II
Chopping Mall
Slaughter High (aka Cutting Class)
Class of 1999

Mainly got this for a widescreen copy of Class of 1999, which I love (oh Traci Lin...) and Waxwork, which I've heard a lot about but somehow never seen.

Sadly this was false advertising, as Class of 1999 is still $^@#$^@ fullscreen.
And Slaughter High is apparently a completely different film to Cutting Class, in spite of having the exact same poster.

Can't say I've ever seen Cutting Class use the Slaughter High poster unless it was a foreign poster. Still a great film IMO.

Isn't Slaughter High the film with Terry from Emmerdale ?

It's good fun if I recall.

I preferred to think of it as the film with Caroline Munro but, yes, it also apparently includes a guy who went on to appear in Emmerdale.

Overall I'm happy with it so far.
After watching this a bit (I fell asleep, tired ) I must admit the 2.0 audio is a bit strangely thunderous in places even leading to distortion of the lows. Not certain if this was originally so or it has been manipulated at some point.

These arrived.
And now it's time to start watching instead of buying.
