A couple from Amazon.de, Escape from New York is actually in HD, best yet for Region B folk like myself, this version just came out 2-3 weeks ago. It's a reversible cover but it has the German title on it 'The Rattlesnake', I'm presuming the reverse is the same as the front without the ratings logo. Strange Days I've been meaning to buy for ages, it's unlikely to ever come out in the UK at this point.

They were both about a tenner each I've finished my Christmas shopping so it's treat time.

Just had a package delivered containing 4 out of 5 items i ordered from Ebay via Music Magpie last week. Not sure if a pricing error but managed to buy them for only £2.60 each including the Inspector Morse box set plus the other three are brand new and sealed.

don't think its a pricing error, got box-sets from them for pennies and stargely they had the same sets in at a lot higher price!

I use Music Magpie all the time but the other day when i check Ebay at lunchtime all the listings between 11 - 12pm were all listed at £2.60 but double checking Amazon for the same items the prices were vastly different so the reason i ordered them. The only thing that was cancelled from my order was the complete Charmed tv series in the limited spellbook edition.

I would watch the films and commentaries in this order:
  1. Theatrical version
  2. Theatrical version with the Richard Kelly and Jake Gyllenhaal commentary
  3. theatrical version with the Richard Kelly and producer Sean McKittrick, plus other actors commentary
  4. Director's Cut
  5. DC with Richard Kelly and Kevin Smith commentary
  6. Theatrical version again

Then watch all the other supplementary material (They Made Me Do It featurette, production diaries etc.) and watch the two versions of the film again.
J Harker likes this.

I love you optimism Nos. That would take me about six months to get through.

I would try and do those steps in as little time as possible, probably under a week. If trebor's post history is anything to go by, the steps will probably be more like this:
  1. Theatrical version
  2. CEX

If you are talking 'Donnie Darko', it should be:

1: 20 minutes of either version
2: CEX
