Have you seen The Devil's Backbone before? it's fantastic.
I can understand if it horror and gore missing, or certain scenes are different or alternative ending etc, like superman II and Superman the donner cut but if it's just bits of nothing in particular like extra few seconds of dialogue or scenes of nothing in particular then I don't really see the point, and no I haven't seen Devils backbone so I'll watch it this week.

I always watch the theatrical cut of CLOSE ENCOUNTERS.

Simply put, the Special Edition removes some scenes from the theatrical cut, adds an alternate scene at the home and adds an extended ending where he goes in to the mothership and you see inside. The worst version!

The directors cut re instates some scenes from the theatrical cut, keeps the alternate scene at the home, adds a new ship dumped in the desert and restores the theatrical cut ending.

Stick with the theatrical cut. It's the best.

Oooh, I got some stuff.

Someone had obviously donated the blue Kubrick boxset (all the WB stuff plus ...) minus the box ahem.

So picked up the doc A Life In Pictures (sealed) and Barry Lyndon which was also intact ahem.

Then I noticed the MGM set underneath some ST:TNG sets and grabbed that too. £4 the lot. Now I can retire me vhs finally ahem.

May go back for the Trek, as they were all £2 each as well ...

Ordered this first but when it arrived it had dead pixels so was allowed to send it back and seller even have me £50 voucher if I ordered instead of asking for refund.

So went for this.

It's not Oled but it's amazing picture quality and the Hdr is a lot better than old tv, with colours popping off the screen and everything looking more natural , unlike last tv in which everything was unnaturally bright, only downside it's doesn't have Dolby vision , which is strange as the tv I sent back had but if that tv was anything too go by it wasn't very unimpressive as the Hdr is better on the replacement
