My 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' 4k got lost in transit, so got a refund. Not happy, as I'd pre-ordered it months ago.

Ordered: 'Isle of the Dead' (Warner Archive blu)
'Leopard Man' (Shout Factory blu)
'The Ghoul' (Network blu)

A couple of wonderful Lewton chillers there, Linbro.

If you've seen them before you'll know what to expect and if you haven't then you're in for a treat.

No, haven't seen them before, can't wait.
'The Ghoul' was shown on TV down here, a couple of times in the mid 90's, at about 2am. I remember recording it on VHS, but being very disappointed at the quality. I'm pretty sure there was some sort of statement at the beginning, outlining the history of it, which explained the poor quality and , from memory, some missing or incomplete scenes.

I have The Ghoul on dvd from Network and also the US MGMl dvd. It's not the greatest movie made and kinda' is a rip off of The Mummy but i quite like it and will be ordering the Network blu at some point.

Both Network releases have a good chat track from Kim Newman.

The print quality on both dvd's is lovely.
Linbro likes this.

I didn't buy either but find the dvd (below) more tempting.
