This weeks arrivals. Humanoids was ordered from 88 before the sale, the two Arrow titles were from CEX (As new condition) and Gwendoline from Amazon.  |

A three disc blu-ray set of season 2 of The Boys arrived today (not as good as season 1 but still enjoyable and twisted fun). Also a couple of cheap second hand Batman film blu-rays from music magpie - I'm too embarrassed to mention which ones.  The Batman bds are for me to watch whilst my wife is working on Sundays.

There was / is a Backdraft attraction type thing at Universal Studios. It's set up in a warehouse with gas pipes, crates and boxes everywhere and it starts off with the audience stood on a platform as staff show how they did the effects whilst also going into fire safety, however things get a bit out of control... ...At the finale the entire warehouse goes up in a massive terrifying backdraft, a huge flaming beam swings towards the audience and the platform drops about a foot as everyone promptly shits themselves with a real jump scare. It's basically a Backdraft movie attraction disguised as a fire safety exercise. Great stuff. nosferatu42 and MrBarlow like this. |
