I’ve watched them both now, The Vault of Horror looks ok, certainly watchable, far from spectacular. The good news is Tales from the Crypt is far better and there is a nice 35 minute featurette with some well know critics.

Imprint Films Odd Couple Collection arrived. The Odd Couple II is more like a Grumpy Old Men film if it was a road movie, but I still like it.

My order from Classic Films Direct arrived a couple of days ago. The Black Torment was also included, but it was the DVD and not the Blu-ray I thought I ordered.

I got my daughter to get me the restored regular version on blu at xmas, i was looking at the releases with both versions on but they were too expensive.

This is a steelbook of the Moroder version at 50p from my local charity shop, result.

Wes Anderson's Bottle Rocket £12 from CEX.

Criterion puts out some great films, but their artwork sucks 99.999% most of the time. This is one of those times.

Totally agree. I'm always disappointed if something i want is released by Criterion. Night of the Living Dead, Easy Rider...

I like the artwork for the Wes Anderson movies – the illustrations are quirky and suit the aesthetic and narrative style in the films.

Bottle Rocket is the worst out of them all but I do really like them too, Royal Tenenbaums especially.
