Cost i’m afraid. Apparently they’d have to do all the cgi shots from scratch due to the way they were done and edited. Seems to be the same reason we haven’t gotten more Star Trek series after TNG. It’s a shame though, as I’d love B5 on blu-ray.

its a shame but as it was very cgi heavy for its day and how it was shot it would cost a lot to bring it to blu ray, so unless it sold really well its not worth it from a financial standpoint

No longer have a region free player because it died and I did not bother replacing as it was costing me a fortune having such a big market to pick from!

Then the region 1 purchases were being picked up and coming out over here, usually better packaging etc and sometimes with better extras. So hopefully The Kindred will get picked up by someone?
