I can agree with those except for Return to Salem's Lot, I really don't rate it myself. But Serpent and the Rainbow I really hope makes it to Blu soon.

I'd like to see a lot of older films and silents released on Blu-ray.

I'd like to see MOC release The Cabimet of Dr. Caligari, The Golem, The Phantom Carriage, Haxaan etc.

I'd like to see a lot of Film Noir released om Blu-ray as well.

I'd love to see every one of these on Blu-Ray. Also love to see the Pantasm boxset on Blu-Ray.

Well I have watched a copy of this for myself. In a nutshell it is 1080i and is obviously from an older source as the picture is soft in places. However, it still has its moments, there is grain on view and overall it is a pretty pleasing presentation despite the source. Picture is bright, clarity is very good at times, and this grungy film really comes to life in Hi def. In fact the old Rat/Bat has never looked better (if better is the right word, maybe even uglier instead...) basically. While the sound is not Lossless, the English DD 5.1 is surprisingly effective and separates nicely across all channels with no distortion. I paid £6 for this and frankly I think I got a deal.
