I think i prefer all the Hammer Frankenstein sequels to the 1957 original.

Thats not to say Curse of Frankenstein is poor, its not, its very good, i just watch the sequels a lot more.

It's a close call, but I enjoy [Rec] 2 slightly more than [Rec].

I definitely prefer Gremlins 2.

Not seen either for years, but I always preferred Batman Returns to the original Burton film . . .

Probably worth a rewatch. You'd be surprised at how campy and ridiculous the sequel is compared even to the first.

It's Batman! It's SUPPOSED to be campy and ridiculous (to me anyway). Love how Burton went full gothic with it, and the Caligari / Cesare designs for Penguin / Catwoman. Plus Walken is awesome, as is Vincent Schiavelli. Plus Elfman's score is one of his very best (love the Selina/Catwoman theme) . . .

Terminator 2, without a shadow of a doubt. It makes the first film pretty redundant because it does it all better.

Ghostbusters 2, I've always preferred it to the first one even though I know in general it's regarded as inferior. Vigo!!!!!!

Really?

I've always thought that gb&u was a prequel to the other 2 and had no idea they were meant to be unconnected, then again in my world unforgiven is the final part of the series with clint playing an older version of the character, still never mind

According to the Frayling comms they were only marketed as a trilogy for the American market.
