Not good enough.
And so many films that will never make it on stuff like Netflix and other sites eg, headless, full zatochi, quite a few Takashi Miike, all 6 lone wolf and cub films, that alone is a good enough reason to buy your films.

Surprising to see DVD sales massively outnumbering Blu-ray and UHD when the typical new TV would be a 4K flatscreen, probably with a 4K Ultra HD player free or for a discounted price.

There are many things I've bought recently which have been Blu-ray only when they used to be dual format, with DVD being phased out with the Ultraviolet digital codes.

I'm not surprised by the DVD vs BD market share, it's probably very similar in the UK, especially with supermarket sales! Those people who got a free UHD player with their big telly are watching DVDs on them, mark my words lol...

I'll just throw the cat among the pigeons by saying I have quite a few Arrow films on digital only through Apple's iTunes, when they come on sale at £2.99 I'm happy to pick them up, especially if it's something which is potentially a 1 time watch kind of film... I wish other video labels would have regular offers like Arrow does.

I meant specifically on the free UHD player, they almost certainly won't be playing a £25 UHD disc.

The HMV Premium Collection. It began with every release having a Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and Ultraviolet code. Since last autumn, they've only included the Blu-ray and digital download. Now Ultraviolet has been discontinued, they only contain a BD.

Yes, that's true. However it matters not as i can't order from the HMV website so it's their loss.

Since the takeover they've not exactly had bargains either. Two for £25 isn't exactly brilliant.
