Good to know I just hope I don't forget by the time the bi-annual B&N 50% off Criterion sale rolls around in July.

The rest are in no particular order and are my favourites today. I couldn't choose between Some Like It Hot and the fabulous James Stewart film Harvey, but went with Monroe as she's hotter than Stewart.
Excellent selection of films. It's been far too long since I watched Some Like It Hot, which is probably the best comedy ever made.

But quite an interesting choice. I haven't seen this for years, need to watch it again soon.

The more and more I look at that collage the more and more it's annoying me. Where's The Big Lebowski? Where's Caligula? Where's Yojimbo? It doesn't even come close to featuring a lot of my fave movies, so i'll knock up a top 25 later in the week.

My top five films (in no particular order) are:

Rosemary's Baby: brilliant use of building up tension and power of suggestion as well as a superb performance by Mia Farrow.

The Devils: An outstanding masterpiece of film, which has one of the most powerful performances by Oliver Reed.

Tetsuo - The Iron Man: I only bought this recently and I'm completely in love with it, absolutely astonishing piece of Cyberpunk body horror which needs to be appreciated a lot more.

Hour of the Wolf: Probably one of my favourite horror's of all time: nice build up of tension throughout the film, excellent directorial skills from Ingmar Bergman (nothing new there) and, as usual in a Bergman film, a superb performance by Max Von Sydow.

Suspiria: Dario Argento's finest piece of work: brilliant use of lighting, excellent soundtrack by Goblin and good horror atmosphere which doesn't clash with the sheer magnitude of the colour.

"Tetsuo..." is an amazing film alluring and repellent at the same time!

I suppose that since we're all actively watching films most of us will need to "tweak" favourites lists from time to time. I've yet to put one together but you can bet a fair amount o' smarties that it will change before long!
