How many films do you watch in a year?

I watch an average of 470 annually. where possible 1-2 a night. However this includes re watches of favourite titles so "different" titles annually would be around 390.

The last couple of years it's been approx 150 per annum. Five or six years ago it would've been twice that.

That's the problem - too much goes on my booze budget these days! When I was living rent free at a friend's house I was able to blow f*ckloads on DVDs - now, not so much. Still, I manage to find time to double up on both minor pleasures, and I'm about to sit down with 'Give Us Tomorrow' and a nice bottle of wine.

I like to catch at least 1 a night, mostly BD/dvd but some on telly if it's unseen by me, so I would guess around 350-360 a year, back in the early VHS days I was made redundant and god knows how many tapes me and my fellow unemployed mates rented and watched (we belonged to about 5 rental shops and would hit them constantly almost daily)

I am on target for about 700 movies this year as have tried to average 60 movies per month. I try to watch at least one movie a day and have cut back on my TV viewing to achieve this.

I attend a few film festivals and have managed to watch 67 at the festivals this year plus 3 outings to the local cinema. When i was ill a few months ago i managed to watch 50 movies in a 10 day period.

Ah, well that's cheating.

I think I've watched about 30 or so TV seasons this year. I've somehow managed to go through more than four years of The Bill just this year (which is, what, 150 episodes per year or something?!)

Last year I watched 528 films (221 at the cinema) and a similar total in 2013.

This year I have watched 339 films (154 at the cinema).

I will probably make it to about 400 by the end of the year. The big drop is largely due to my decision to severely curtail the number of DVDs/blu-rays that I buy. I should point out that I watch almost no television, so its not as if I am in front of the TV for hours every evening.
