Easy mistake Nos. I imagine a lot of people took it to be fictional.

The Norwegian Prime Minister is the expert on the matter.

It seems to me that found footage films fall into two categories

1) Those that are unwatchable due to the fact that they feature footage from surveillance cameras, which are boring, stationary shots where noting happens for minutes on end, such as the 'Paranormal Activity' films

2) Those that are unwatchable due to the fact that the person holding the camera is hyperactive, resulting in nausea-inducing fast shots that are out-of-focus, amateurish and not actually showing anything, such as 'The Blair Witch Project' and 'August Underground' etc

These might be good films, but I'm afraid I cannot watch them!

The ones I do like would be the ubiquitous 'Cannibal Holocaust', 'C'est arrivé près de chez vous' (pretentious? Moi?) and 'Diary Of The Dead' but other that those, I would struggle to name ones I enjoyed

The problem i have with most FF jobs is they all seem to feature the most diligent cameramen on earth. No one would continue filming constantly in a lot of the scenarios featured.

From what i recall, most don't. As soon as the going gets even slightly interesting the camera operator usually leaves said device pointing towards the floor or up at the roof. (Hi Cloverfield)

I liked Cloverfield but if i were being chased around Manhattan by a big arse alien I'd be chucking the camera.

All i can come up with.
Seeing as i only got seven I'm going to add this

The Ring (2002)

Not the original but Gore Verbinskis US remake. I've not seen the original but i do really like this version.
And no its not a found footage film true, yet the plot does revolve around a videotape featuring found footage of a sort. Plus, i only got seven films on my list.
You know on that principle, i could consider adding The Evil Dead, again not a found footage film but the recordings found in the cellar are found footage of a sort and they do kick the whole film off. Mm...
