My definition of a 'guilty pleasure' would be - a film that you enjoy but that is considered bad or silly by most other people.

Are y'all okay with that? If so, I'll try and compile a personal top ten.

I think the word guilty has to be taken with a big pinch of salt when it comes to defining a guilty pleasure. There's certainly no film i literally feel guilty about liking. Suzie is halfway there suggesting that its to with having to defend a particular film to others. There may be films that here in this little piece of paradise we call Cult Labs no one bats an eyelid at wherehas most of my collection needs defending to friends and family. And there are films i like watching with the missus, such as Bridget Jones that most around here would despise.

I think we are over analysing the whole topic. For me it was 10 films I would normally not watch or enjoy those type of films but somehow I did I don't feel guilt of shame watching them they are films I'm just surprised I enjoy myself. Guilty pleasure was just a title we seem to be analysing the word guilty and what that means more than the films this week.

Agreed.

It's a wonder people watch any films on this forum, they probably never get past the analysis of what they might be watching before they start.
