Can The Omen be classed as British because it's British/American, uses English actors etc. If American werewolf counts it should surely?
Opinions?

Yes and No - depending on your own personal criteria

Personally, I'd say it was acceptable.

I absolutely love it, it's freaky, haunting, and very smart that becomes almost more rewarding with each watch, not to mention being almost entirely practical for such an ambitious film, and being shot in Australia

  • The Descent
  • The Devil Rides Out
  • Hellraiser
  • The Innocents

Village, The Devils and Berberian I don't count as being horror but they have horrific subject matter, while Eden Lake and Kill List narrowly missed out, I just couldn't decide on the last couple and settled.

But remember Alien which falls under the same criteria and adds an English director isn't.

Even though the book Ten Years of Terror says it is. The Omen too by the way.
