I guess it depends what you mean by comedy horror. Some people would count Ghostbusters or Beetlejuice but I always thought of them more as just comedies with supernatural elements, not necessarily "horror". |

Yeah, I probably shouldn't have put Beetlejuice in my top-ten.

I think it's just down to individual perception. |

Top 10 Comedy Horror films. Tucker and Dale vs Evil (2010) Fido (2006) Boy Eats Girl (2005) Club Dread (2004) Theatre of Blood (1973) Juan of the Dead (2011) Dog House (2009) Feast 2 (2008) Piranha 3DD (2012) Transylvania 6500 (1985) Severance (2006) So many to choose from. Especially from the 90's onwards. Like others have said a top 20 would only just begin to do the genre justice. |

I notice Whale's The Old Dark House is on a few lists. Whilst it is a fave of mine i can't say i've ever laughed whilst watching it, even if it is classed as a comedy of manners. As for An American Werewolf in London? I'm sorry but that's one of the scariest films i've ever seen. It's about as funny as being in a lonely pub on your own when all the locals start to look like they want to kill, bugger, sacrifice, chop you up into little pieces for the local butchers shop (delete as applicable). |

Really? I'm not saying they are all wonderful films but i find them all very entertaining and in parts funny. Tucker and Dale is a true gem and one of the finest horrors of this century so far. Perhaps you youngsters should actually sit down and watch some horror for a change instead of wank like Manchester in the Canal. |
