Would have loved to have included Broken (2006), Hatchet (2006) Manhunt (2008) and Resurrection County (2008), but it's ten films only.
Whats Wendigo Dem? Is it anything to do with the Algernon Blackwood story? Isn't much info on imdb.

There are 143 reviews as well as a fairly detailed synopsis.

But no it's not based on Blackwood's story, i don't think. It's from Larry Fessenden who also made the excellent slow burner The Last Winter.

I don't read the reviews on imdb. They're generally written by twonks not proper cult labs types. And the admittedly decent synopsis doesn't tell me whether its based on Blackwoods story or not. Amd there's no trivia to suggest one way or tuther.

They can give you a general idea of whether you might like a film though.

Wendigo is a slow burn intelligent horror about Indian shape shifting legends.

The fact that you like The Witch makes me think you should give it a go.

It is a bit of a marmite film though. Loved and loathed.

Edit - it was written by Larry Fessenden. All his work.

The synopsis alone has me interested. As for imdb reviews i oddly find myself more inclined to read Amazon ones. I suspect gag writes the majority of both but he seems to put more heart into his Amazon ones.

This thread is clearly too much for poor old bizarre_eye.

His thread activity is getting less and less these days.

I'm having a tooth pulled out by the dentist tomorrow

How about Top Ten films with a medical connection?

That's a good idea.

If b_e doesn't come up with anything by early evening we can go with that.
