When i was a kid i thought Charles Bronson was a boring old git whose films were all the same. I thought much the same of Eastwood. Now I'm not saying i think that now, not for a second, but in a world where there's around 300 films i want to catch up on at any given moment Bronson has just kind of slipped by the wayside. Just to clarify, i meant no disrespect to the man. I got into Clint Eastwood via his later stuff like Unforgiven and A Perfect World, which in turn got me eventually into the likes of Josey Wales and ultimately The Dollars Trilogy. Unfortunately for poor Charlie the last of his big films (if you can call a Canon made 4th sequel 'big') was out when i was still relatively new to the whole movie thing never mind cult cinema and Canon movies.
